Okay Cheesy Cousins,
We are not doing very well with this Bloggy. I hate to be negative, but let's face the facts. We probably have the worst blog in blog history. Leisy, where is your most recent contribution? Wretched Rachel and Kristen? There's time to change.

Hahaha...actually I thought I would take the time to contribute because I am procrastinating more important matters. Here is a little bit of Jack! Love you guys.

So here we are in Paris and we took the city by storm! We had so much fun seeing everything and being silly and drinking orangina and going to bed at 2am after Rachael washed all her clothes in the sink and threw them into the shower! It rained on us almost everyday, but we still had an awesome time. I say we do it again in two years(I know I'm really living in a dream world, but we could do Vancouver BC!) .

Christmas In McCall

Hope you all had a great Christmas! Matt and I took the plunge and drove the 17 hours to Idaho instead of flying. Ben and Chantal got there the day after us and Chantals mom Marilyn came to join in on the Howell christmas craziness. We tried to go snowboarding Christmas day, 'tried' being the keyword because at the end of the day it looked like we had gone swimming instead it was so rainy and wet! still fun though. On the way home we got caught in a blizzard! (or so I like to refer to it as for storytelling purposes) and had to stay in cedar city, but luckily not on the side of the freeway. Happy new year to all of you!

Sorry our halloween pics are so late - but we had to include them! Kent went "goth" on me ~ I didn't realize he had this in him. You should have seen him with his black lipstick! He couldn't eat dinner with it on, he said it kept getting on his pizza. He also wore my pet snake (formerly hailey and steve's pet snake) around his wrist as part of the costume! bicknell (the snake) got a little tired of the party and had to be put away after awhile.
I'm a ladybug if you can't tell. I love this costume and wore it to school. My students think I'm crazy!!

Hey Family,
This is late, but we didn't want anyone to miss out on our little Jackaloupe. He was a big hit at all the parties. Too bad he can't go trick or treating yet. Steve and I would have enjoyed his candy. I hope that everyone noticed Taylor's Jack the Great Pumpkin King costume (behind Pink Pippy). I think he did it for Jackson. Some people will do anything to get in good with cheesy cousins! Heheee!

Last weekend Ben and Chantal came to visit Matt and I in Encino and we spent all day Saturaday at Magic Mountain for the Fright Fest fun they had going on for Halloween. In about 10 hours we had managed to squeeze in 6 rides! For over an hour wait sometimes two hours for each rollarcoaster we thought we had done pretty good!! The best part of the whole weekend though was definitely when Ben showed up at our apartment dressed up in his Halloween costume!! It was hilarious! Dont you worry, I'll be sure he puts a pic of it on here for all of you to see!

Here is a picture of us (leisy and kent) on our saturday morning drive! i wasn't paying attention and of course am looking the wrong direction!! it was beautiful however! the fall has been amazing!

life continues to be great for us, just really busy still. we've been working, studying, and having fun. We are now waiting for interviews into medical schools. We've gotten secondary application requests from 13 out of the 15 schools we applied to! it is really exciting to think about where we could go. our options span from california to new york!

i hope that others post more soon!

SO, I hope that everyone now has access to this little cheesy blog.
The family reunion was a great sucess, although we were missing most of the original and true cheesy cousins!
I'll post some pictures later today when I get home from school! and I am assuming that the Chris Howell family will have some of their own fun photos to post after their get together this weekend.

What a good idea! I have never blogged before so I hope I do okay at it. :)
Here is a pic of my hubs (he goes my Matt, Mattaroo, Matty, Hew, and his full name of Matthew) and I on our wedding which was over 4 months ago! thats crazy! and whats even crazier is that I still haven't got all the thank you notes out yet (dont worry though yours is in the works and if it has already arrived, well then I will give myself a pat on the back) So I am officially a married woman as well as a licensed cosmetologist as of June 6 and have assisted in several salons, but am still looking for a place I want to settle down in. On the side I am doing everyones hair I know and their little dogs too. I went home to Boise last week and permed Brysons hair, cut and highlighted my moms and cut and colored Megans before she went off to college. And I thought I was going home for a vacation! :) Also if any of you have future plans of going to Disneyland or California we live in Encino which is about 30-45 min away from the wonderful world of Disney and we do have a hide-a-bed that is hoping one day to be used.

What a great idea - thanks for taking the initiative Leisy! We had a great weekend, hiking and playing at the beach with our friends and sitting on the benches Derek made for his Eagle Scout project. Today we went to the "meet the teacher" thing at the school and it was SO hot and crowded and nutso that we came home for popsicles and a movie to wind down. Who knew back to school could be so crazy? Lydia's super excited, unlike the teenagers in the family, to start school in just two days!! So, this is the cheesy cousin blog! I really don't love the idea of the blog, I think even once I
vowed to never have one! However, I think it will be a lot easier and more fun to have a family website where we can read about each other, see pictures, and post our own family pictures and news for others to read!! I have sent you each an e-mail (which is hopefully how you all got here) on how to post and such. I'm still not a whiz at getting it all figured out, so if you all find anything exciting to add or do, let me know, or just make the changes! I'm really excited about it all! :)
